About Renaud Beauchard

Inspired by thinkers such as Matthew B. Crawford and Wendell Berry who wrote eulogies to manual work, I received formal training as regenerative urban farmer from Eco City Farms and worked as a farm-hand at Floating Lotus Farmstead with one of the most talented vegetables farmers on the East Coast. One day per week, I still work at P.A. Bowen Farmstead in Brandywine, MD, whose owner is Sally Fallon Morell, the best selling author of Nourishing Traditions, and the president of the board of directors of the Weston Price Foundation. I decided to put that knowledge to good use by helping families to grow healthy food in their yard. I’ve done a Kitchen Garden Consulting Certification program and became a Gardenary certified garden consultant and have accumulated countless hours of study on my own. I’m very excited to put all that learning to good use teaching clients how to successfully grow food in their yards.

Did you know that, in 1944, more than 40 percent of all the fresh fruits and vegetables consumed in the United States came from family kitchen gardens? Our mission is to help families grow their own healthy food and create a beautiful corner of the world.

There are innumerable sources to teach yourself gardening. So many that you risk being overwhelmed and discouraged. We take the stress and the overwhelm out of the equation by delivering that information in a digestable way through a simple growing process and progressive skill building.
